After the projection of the film "Memphis Belle", a conference and debate will be organized. American, English, German and French ace pilots will gather their souvenirs of operations in the skies of Alsace and will answer all questions asked .
To date, invited pilots are MM. :
Pierre SIMARD – Fighter pilot in the Fighter Group 1/7 Provence operating on Spitfire MK IX. Lieutenant SIMARD lands on the Haguenau airfield on the 25 th december 1944 and must leave in emergency on the 31 st december during the german counter-attack in the North of Alsace.
Henry BALLEREAU – Fighter pilot in the Group 2/3 Dauphiné operating P47 Thunderbolt .
Gerhard HILDENBRAND – Pilot on D 520 in the J/G 101 on jet fighter Me 262 on which he accomplishes 8 war missions.
Hans-Ekkehard BOB – Pilot in the 3/JG 21 in July 1939, then in the famous JV 44 with A. Galland, operating jet fighters Me 262, over 700 war missions.
Jean DABOS – Spitfire pilot in England from early 1944 in the Squadron 341 Alsace in the Air Force of the "France Libre".
Jimmy DAVIES – Fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force. Flies on Spitfire in England from early 1944 in the Squadron 341 Alsace in the Air Force of the "France Libre".
