Merry Christmas to you !!

We have now been in Strasbourg for almost 2,5 years....time is rushing by!  In the beginning of the year, we moved to a house in Illkirch, a suburb south of Strasbourg.  All the kids are now in the same school, which makes life a little bit easier for "Helena's Taxi Company".

The "happening" of  the year, was clearly the marriage between Keyla and Mattias in Caracas, Venezuela.  Bertil went there for the wedding and stayed another week to see more than just Caracas. A few months after the wedding, the bride and the groom moved to Sweden, due to the uncertain political situation in Venezuela.

Easter and summer was spent in Fiskebäckskil (Swedens west coast). This year was wonderful in Fiskebäckskil, with temperatures arround 25-30 degrees, rather than 35-40 in France during the same time. It was nice to escape France's exceptionally hot, dry summer. During our stay in Fiskebäckskil, we enjoyed the visits of many friends & family members.

The autumn has been very nice in Strasbourg, As of writing this, we still have blooming flowers in our garden.
