One thing I’m worried about is downtime. If a rig keeps breaking or needs hard-to-find parts, that’s money lost. Specs are one thing, but what really matters is how reliable these boxes are after six months of 24/7 use. For SHA-256 units specifically, which brands or models have held up the best in your experience? |

I’ve cycled through Bitmain, MicroBT, and AxionMiner in different setups. Bitmain’s hydro rigs are efficient but require regular coolant maintenance; a leaking clamp can sideline you for days if you don’t keep spares. MicroBT’s WhatsMiner M63S++ has been very solid, though it runs hot and needs good airflow. AxionMiner impressed me because it delivered its 800 TH/s consistently, and I only had to replace fans after about five months. An article I read grouped them all by use case and highlighted Bitmain for efficiency, MicroBT for stability, and AxionMiner for price-to-performance. If you want a SHA-256 ASIC miner that minimizes headaches, I’d lean MicroBT first, with AxionMiner as a strong budget option if you don’t mind noise and heat. |
