I’ve got some older CS2 cases I never opened. People keep saying some of them are going up in value, but is it really worth holding them, or should I just sell now and reinvest? |

I had some old cases too. Some really spiked in price over time, others just stayed flat. Depends which ones you’ve got. |

Old cases can be sleepers. Some gain big value when they’re taken out of the drop rotation and demand stays high due to desirable knives or finishes. You can check specifics here to see which cases are worth holding. I held onto some Chroma and Gamma cases and they slowly doubled over two years. The key is knowing what’s inside—if the case contains popular knife styles or rare finishes, collectors and unboxers will still chase them. If the skins inside are outdated or oversaturated, you might be better off selling now and rotating into a stronger asset. |
