Cuánto cuestan los desechables biodegradables en Hidalgo? El uso de plásticos es uno de los temas más importantes en la actualidad, y en Hidalgo se aplica una campaña que prohíbe la venta de productos de un solo uso, pero ante esto, ¿qué opciones tenemos? Los productos hechos de materiales biodegradables. En Hidalgo Los desechables biodegradables ya se comienzan a vender en las tiendas de conveniencia; pero, ¿sabes de qué están hechos y sobre todo cuando cuestan? Para ello, Criterio hizo un recorrido en tiendas de Pachuca donde venden platos, vasos, popotes, cucharas y demás utensilios hechos con materiales que no afectan al ambiente. Los plásticos desechables están creados de varios materiales, los que revisamos en Criterio son productos elaborados a base de biomasa, la cual logra que tengan un tiempo de biodegradación de 90 a 240 días, sin dejar residuos tóxicos en el medio ambiente, esto gracias a que los microorganismos se alimentan de los productos logrando reintegrarlos a la naturaleza. Actualmente, un producto elaborado de plástico tarda aproximadamente 500 años en degradarse, o el unicel que su tiempo es de 1,600 años. Por unanimidad, diputados hidalguenses de la LXIV legislatura, aprobaron reformas a la ley de Prevención y Gestión Integral de residuos del estado para eliminar la utilización de plásticos de un solo uso en la entidad Previamente, la Secretaria de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de Hidalgo (Semarnath) anunció que estará prohibido en los establecimientos comerciales el uso de bolsas de plásticos y popotes a partir del 15 de abril para centros comerciales, de autoservicio y de departamentales, y a partir del 15 de junio para centrales de abasto, mercados y tiendas de conveniencia. Detallaron que a los centros comerciales, de autoservicio y departamentales se les otorgará un mes de tolerancia para cumplir con lo estipulado en la ley, por lo que a partir del 15 de abril deberán implemente estas acciones. Mientras que para las centrales de abasto, mercados y tiendas de conveniencia el periodo de adaptación será de 3 meses, por lo que a partir del 15 de junio deberán aplicar la ley. Los denominados plásticos de un solo uso son aquellos utilizados una sola vez y luego son desechados y no sólo incluyen a las bolsas que en cualquier comercio y mercado nos la proporcionan para llevar los productos comercializados. Entre los plásticos de un solo uso se tiene a los sorbetes, los envases de poliestireno (tecnopor), las bolsas comerciales de bodegas, mercados y supermercados; colillas de cigarrillos, botellas de plástico para bebidas, tapas de botellas de plástico, envoltorios de comida; su utilización se limita al transporte de un producto o alimento, o son usados para consumir una bebida o comida una sola vez porque luego son eliminados como parte de los residuos sólidos municipales. |
