I’m thinking about growing autoflower seeds for my first indoor setup because they’re supposed to be easier and faster. But I’m not sure what to expect in terms of germination rates, flowering time, and yield. Also, I’m looking for reliable seed companies with good strain info. Anyone here started with autoflowers and had a smooth experience? |

Last fall I decided to grow my first autoflower crop. I’d read that autoflower seeds require less fuss and adjust to light cycles automatically. I stumbled on Kind Seed Co — https://kindseed.com/autoflower-seeds/ — and was struck by their strain profiles. I chose LSD Auto Fem because I wanted a heavy indica effect and fast finish. The seed package arrived discreetly after a week. I soaked the seeds overnight, then planted in solo cups under a 20/4 light schedule indoors. Germination was 100%—sprouts appeared in three days. I transplanted to 3‑gal pots with quality potting mix. The plants started flowering by week four without switching lights. Around week nine, buds were dense and frosty. Taste was earthy with a hint of lemon, just as advertised. Yield wasn’t huge—about 60g per plant—but the aroma and smoke quality surpassed my expectations. Overall a solid beginner success. |
